Looking for a really awesome DSP who understands how to be a true assistant to the individual supported. Very independent adult in Clementon seeking a DSP/self-hire who can help an adult create meaningful connections within the community. The ideal candidate is a person who knows about the local community and what it has to offer and is a go-getter. The individual looking for support wants help to think about employment, connections, and everyday life. There is also the potential to help with research, note taking, meeting attending and processing, and provide related assistance to advocacy! The ideal DSP will also provide encouragement and advice (when asked!) around healthy living and good choices. This is a fantastic position for a DSP/self-hire who is looking to assist someone help change the world. $24/hr. – 2-4 hours total every other week as follows: Sundays 3 pm – 5 pm; Monday or Tuesday 10 am -12 pm. Some local driving required, so a reliable vehicle is needed – mileage reimbursement available. DSPs training a plus.
